Who Does What on Your Job
Every cleanout runs through the same three roles. Here's what each one does and the standard they work to.
Estimator
The estimator walks the property with you (or reviews your photos), works out the volume and access, and writes up the estimate. They're also the person who confirms with you what's being kept before the crew starts. Standard: no surprises. The price and the plan are in writing before work begins.
Crew Lead
The crew lead runs cleanout day. They follow the sort plan room by room, decide what goes to donation, recycling and disposal, and set aside anything personal. They also do the final walkthrough with you. Standard: nothing that looks like it matters goes in the trailer without a second look.
Haulers
The haulers do the lifting, loading and disposal runs, and they're the reason the property ends up empty and swept. Standard: protect the floors, walls and doorways on the way out, and leave every room broom-clean.
